About My PowerPoint Presentations

When I am giving
presentations dealing with the reality of Creation, I like to
educate folks on why the philosophy of evolution has
never been “good
science”. Although I update my presentations often, I am going to
include here an accurate depiction of a typical presentation. For
the very young people, if
there is a significant group of them, I will do a puppet show for a
few minutes for their benefit (even though the “old folks” usually
learn from it, too).
After the puppet show, the first thing I like
to do (using PowerPoint) is present the claims of the creationist,
and the claims of the evolutionist.
I discuss the
real origin of life,
and explain why life can never be created in the laboratory.
I put
into plain language what amino acids and proteins are, and why the
acids produced in the lab will never work in a living cell.
I give a
basic explanation dealing with the complexity of the cell. I explain
why cell-based animals (one-celled animals) can never become
organ-based animals.
I discuss many of the outright
deceptions that the
evolutionists present to us as scientific fact dealing with the
philosophy of evolution.
I explain how the evolutionist’s own “fruit
fly experiments” have inadvertently shown Creation to be the best
explanation of where all the different
kinds of animals
(and man) came from.
I talk about metamorphosis and what’s
really happening
inside the chrysalis or cocoon. There are some
amazing genetic
instructions being followed “in there”! Would anybody care for a
bowl of caterpillar soup? I compare the incredible changes that
occur from “caterpillar to butterfly” (or moth) to what happens when
someone accepts Christ into their life (II Corinthians 5:17).
Using
a Rubik’s Cube and a roller skate, I explain why genetic errors can
never produce the new
material needed to make a more complex “creature” out of a Rubik’s
Cube, or any living
creature.
The concept of “genetic load” is explained.
I clarify as
to why “environmental pressures and the struggle for survival”
cannot turn a sea-squirt into a fish. I show an example (from ZooBooks) of one of the many deceptions foisted upon our children
dealing with so-called evolution (one animal changing into another
kind over time).
I show a picture of one of the most embarrassing
“living fossils” and explain how the scientists were able to
recognize this “ancient” animal in the first place.
I go over an
artist’s rendition of Bambiraptor (the newest and most exciting
“dinosaur-bird”) and compare the “art work” (complete with
thousands of
beautiful feathers) with the
real fossil to
demonstrate why it is a
total deception used to push “dinosaur to bird” evolution.
Using Darwin’s Finches as an example, I explain why “adaptive
abilities” are God-given abilities, and in no way are an example of
evolution.
I explain what fossils are, and show what the fossil
record would look like if evolution actually occurred.
I explain the
multitude of
differences between “us” and monkeys, using some of my drawings and
photos. I explain major differences dealing with the anatomy of the
human hand, as opposed to the ape hand. I do the same thing with
feet.
I discuss paleoanthropology (the study of ancient humans) to
explain the honest mistakes (and a few deceptions) used when trying
to convince people that humans and monkeys somehow have a common
ancestor (and explain why the famous “Lucy” could not be one of our
ancestors). I discuss Ida (pronounced “ee-duh”) which is the latest
and greatest effort (they keep trying) to show our monkey ancestry.
They are really going “all out” trying to find something spectacular
to show us in this “Year of Darwin” (2009).
I explain (with
photographic evidence and my first hand, eye witness account) why
humans and dinosaurs were contemporaneous.
I discuss Intelligent
Design and use the human hand and several other “items” as proof of
Intelligent Design.
I give examples of some things which cannot
“show up later” (evolve) to prove that evolution is an outdated
unscientific (and silly) fairy tale.
My final slide shows Ephesians
4:14: “Be no more children tossed to and fro, by the slight of men,
and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to
deceive.”
I know this has been a long explanation of my presentation, but I
felt it was necessary to allow Pastors (and others) to know where I
stand on the issue, in the hopes that I may be allowed to present
these facts of science to their congregation, Sunday School, or
youth or children’s groups some time in the future.
Even after over
twenty-two years of “telling the truth” about Creation, it still
gives me a thrill to “open the eyes” of many who have never been
told the truth about the God of Creation. |
